Looking for somewhere new to shop? Bored of braving busy public transport to get to your nearest shops? Well, find a new shopping experience in the second of FountLondon‘s three railway arches; this is the new destination for exciting start-ups and retails brands.
FountLondon has a motto “we love to nurture the small things, from children to start-ups”, which reflects well over the pop-up shop space. Since we opened the gates to our three arches in 2015, we have had an incredible number of brands pop-up in our pop-up space, each bringing something different to our community.
We are BEYOND excited to have The New Craft House join our little community; these guys will be taking over our ‘Shop’ (and part of the ‘Play’ element too) aspect from April, bringing you craft workshops, stylish products and sewing kits. They use traditional crafting techniques to create modern products and regularly hold workshops that are both educational, and fun. We can’t wait to have them join us.
Cuemars combines the finest contemporary homeware with the passion of nature; they create a unique range of functional and thoughtful homeware. Their goal is to provide well designed and durable accessories and lifestyle goods for your home. They took over our ‘Shop’ element at the beginning of 2018 but will be re-locating back to their Hackney Road space at the end of March.
East End Prints was at FountLondon since we originally opened; they sells affordable and contemporary prints and greeting cards. They have recently moved to a new premises, 234 Brick Lane.
Our shared space has been used to house rotating brands, of which have previously included: Urban Makers East, Hustle & Fox, Beau Loves, Molly Meg, Eastern Biological, Bubble and Squeak, Ellie’s Heirlooms, Sparkle Child, Lobella Loves and Hannah and Tiff to name a few. Our pop-up space has recently been taken over by Cuemars, but we still have pop-up opportunities within two summer huts located outside.
They have previously housed many brands including: Rock My Bowl, Black Mylk Ice-Cream, Philipa Day and Nadien K, E8Create and The Roving Cafe. If you are interested in a pop-up opportunity at FountLondon, we would love to hear from you!
If you’ve visited FountHackney before, or follow us across social media, you’ll know that we’re really lucky to have such a great idea space. When we first opened our gates, we held a Christmas market, tapping into East London’s love for weekend markets. It was a huge success and we are looking to create this again, but with a Spring Market. It’s still very early days but if you might be interested in joining our community for the weekends, drop us an e-mail on firstname.lastname@example.org.
