We’ve been open a month now and are officially in full swing! We want to introduce you to some great brands that we’ve had so far in our pop-up SHOP – just in case you haven’t had the chance to stop by yet.
We kicked off the roster with East End Prints and Maiden – setting up before we’d even officially opened, they powered through our launch weekend! East End Prints covered our shop wall to wall with all kinds of different sized prints, framed and limited editions – we had some serious eyes on their Star Wars range! On the other side of the store Maiden had curated a strong edit of their products into an Alice In Wonderland themed range – the Cheshire cat lamp had to be one of our favourite items, not to mention the beautifully designed editions of the books…
Sindiso Khumalo, self-confessed ‘textile nerd’, brought her sustainable contemporary textiles to Fount. Sindi draws upon her Zulu and Ndebele heritage and is influenced by the Bauhaus and Memphis Movements resulting in beautiful and unique designs. Sindi has recently started hand printed children’s wear – there’s going to be some stylish kids around Hackney!
Little Goldie launched in spring 2015 after Sonali fell in love with the world of children’s design.
‘Why did I choose the name Little Goldie? Well, my name – Sonali – means golden in Sanskrit, and bright yellows and golds are my favourite colours, so the name just felt perfect!’
Many of Little Goldie’s heirloom-worthy items are handmade and have been chosen because of their minimal environmental impact. A great collection of adorable, imaginative toys that are timeless and built to last!
