FountLondon – Columbia Road
Columbia Road is a weekend destination. Originally, Hackney Road was used to driving livestock from Essex to Smithfield Market. As time went on, in the 19th century, the road changed dramatically as it became increasingly commercialised. Hackney Road is one of the most unique architectural and urban roads in London. Its steeped in History.
61 Hackney Road sits in the middle of the stretch & has a rather interesting history. It closed as a pub, The Duke of Clarence, in 2006, making way for FountLondon. Sitting opposite the popular destination, Columbia Road Flower Market, this building consists of three units.
We have a wonderful selection of Independent businesses at Columbia Road, bringing creativity, wellbeing and character to the building.
